Louisville, KY Day 1

Day one in Louisville was a good one! I made a bunch of money and explored a whole lot. I started the day at Cave Hill Cemetery to see the graves of Muhammad Ali and Colonel Sanders. There were so many beautiful statues and monuments. Definitely one of the most beautiful cemeteries I've been to, and I've been to a lot, cause I'm a weirdo.

After the cemetery visit, I worked a bit more and then went to find postcards for the folks I agreed to send post cards to (looking at you Dave) That led me into downtown Louisville for an hour or so. I saw all of the sights to see and had the famous brown sandwich from the brown hotel. It wasn't that great...

But the staff and service there were top notch and they had a whole bowl of candy on the way out. I like this city, it's cute. There is parking everywhere and nothing is more than 10 minutes away from anywhere. According to my friend I'm staying with, the airport is 12 minutes, hahahaha.

We're getting (So) ready for night 1 of Goose. Tickets were only $4. I don't think the south really does jam bands. This is my first Goose show without my Goose boys. They went to The Riv last night where all my favorite songs were played so we'll see how the next two nights go.

Much love ❤️

A little Phish

Spent a weekend at Deer Creek with so many friends! A great time was had and I'm looking forward to this weekend in Bethel, even if it's going to be a wet one!      After Phish I ended up in Ohio for a few days. Spent a lot of time outside and laughing with some of my favorites. Tomorrow I'm back on the road again. I'll be crossing off another state from my list, working, camping and checking things out. I made sure to give myself plenty of time for all of that in-between shows.  Much love ❤️

Summer of Jenn 2

Started off Summer of Jenn 2 with a short trip to one of my favorite venues to see one of my favorite bands (moe.) play an amazing show with some amazing friends!      I was going to take a quick disco nap and head straight from Dillon to Chicago but my car has been burning oil and my roommate insisted I get it fixed before I drive across the country. $600 later and I was told to just get a new car. Thanks... I guess I got new spark plugs too but I could've done that myself.      I'm a day behind on travel so I decided to do the drive over night. Haven't really done that before, I usually leave around 2am. Wish me luck!  Much love ❤️

Home

The first over night drive was successful, as in, I got here. I think it's actually the way to go. Nebraska is so much better when you can't see it, construction zones aren't active yet and there are less police and awful drivers on the road. But I do feel like it took so much longer. (It didn't) I also put so much oil in my car just to get here... I don't want to talk about it. All the drives coming up are much shorter and I hope the car is agreeable.     Every time I come home my dad grabs Portillo's for dinner. I swear I'm still full. I heard they are opening one in Denver, would be nice to have a little slice of home close by.     After dinner I spent time with friends and learned more about spray tanning than I ever needed to know, but I'm always thankful for new knowledge! This is the first Phish tour in years that we won't be at any of the same shows and it's weirding me out!      Tomorrow the kids are helping me d...
