Home sweet home

I spent 24 hours in my home town. I definitely did not miss the traffic. As I'm deciding where to eventually have my home base at the end of the summer, I'm realizing that the every day stress of traffic is not worth it. The fact that I've spent hours of my life just sitting, waiting, wishing that people would get the funk out of the way...

I got to spend some time with my kiddo which was the whole reason for my visit. We went out for tacos and ice cream and stopped to see my brother for his birthday

I had more tacos for dinner with some really good friends and then partied a bit with some more of my favorites. Over all it was a fantastic 24 hours. Now back to the country I go.

Much love ❤️

A little Phish

Spent a weekend at Deer Creek with so many friends! A great time was had and I'm looking forward to this weekend in Bethel, even if it's going to be a wet one!      After Phish I ended up in Ohio for a few days. Spent a lot of time outside and laughing with some of my favorites. Tomorrow I'm back on the road again. I'll be crossing off another state from my list, working, camping and checking things out. I made sure to give myself plenty of time for all of that in-between shows.  Much love ❤️

Summer of Jenn 2

Started off Summer of Jenn 2 with a short trip to one of my favorite venues to see one of my favorite bands (moe.) play an amazing show with some amazing friends!      I was going to take a quick disco nap and head straight from Dillon to Chicago but my car has been burning oil and my roommate insisted I get it fixed before I drive across the country. $600 later and I was told to just get a new car. Thanks... I guess I got new spark plugs too but I could've done that myself.      I'm a day behind on travel so I decided to do the drive over night. Haven't really done that before, I usually leave around 2am. Wish me luck!  Much love ❤️

DICKS!

The four night run at Dicks was exceptional. Got to dance with some amazing people and hear a lot of great songs. That will definitely be where you can find me every Labor Day from now on.      My postcard friend let me crash his hotel after my original plan fell through. Super sweet of him and a great hotel not too far from the venue. His kindness was appreciated and we had a great time together.     I stayed near the hotel today and worked and then headed out to the mountains to clear my head from the weekend. The journey home has started and I already can't wait to be back here.      Summer of Jenn may be over but the adventures will never stop. Next up, New Mexico! My friend said I should just make it the year of Jenn... Why not?  Much love ❤️
